There are few things in life as satisfying as fresh, local produce. The taste and smell are just different than anything you can get out of a grocery store. Plus, there's something extra special about knowing where your food is coming from and supporting local farmers. Those of us who currently live here in Central Florida have the benefit of having access to a wide variety of local farmer's markets that we can regularly visit throughout the year.

Here are five of the best farmers' markets in central Florida:

Winter Park Farmer's Market: Located in the heart of Winter Park, this market has been a local favorite for over 30 years. It features over 70 vendors selling fresh produce, plants, and other locally-sourced goods. The farmer's market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 7 am to 1 pm.
